Long-time ENZED backed Supercars driver Cam Waters enjoyed a standout weekend at Winton Motor Raceway (near Benalla) for the most-recent round of the 2022 Repco Supercars Championship.

Having shown great pace at the previous round in Western Australia, Waters qualified on pole position for two of the three all-important sessions determining the grid positions for the trio of 36-lap races, before going on to record two wins and a single runner-up finish across the weekend, which formed the fifth round of twelve in this year’s championship.

On two occasions Waters held off a spirited attack from arch-rival - and championship leader - Shane van Gisbergen to greet the chequered flag as the victor and claim overall honours for the weekend.

Waters’ next Supercars championship event will be conducted at Darwin’s Hidden Valley Raceway over the weekend of June 17-19 and Cam is confident of a strong showing at the Top End.
